Christmas Elegance

If you want to add some charm and elegance to your Christmas table setting, add some plain white tall candles along with mini tea candles, wine glasses, pine cones and fresh flower arrangements on top of a nice table cover preferably white or beige. Love the idea of single champagne bottles that came with a straw for each guest. Be creative:)

11 Interesting Gift Wrapping Ideas

For those of you that like to five the gift of art this Christmas/New Years, here are some cool different ideas to spice up your gift boxes.
We are playing Secret Santa with a bunch of friends this Christmas. Those of you who are not familiar with the game, Secret Santa is a Western Christmas tradition in which members of a group are randomly assigned a person to whom they anonymously give a gift (based on Wikipedia).  This is the first time I am playing it, so I am excited how it's going to turn out. And these gift boxes are definitely inspirational for the game...

Christmas is here!!! Although I don't celebrate Christmas, I always loved the Christmas decoration, and how cozy Christmas colors makes a home. In this post, I wanted to include some pictures I collected through some blogs and show you how a touch of red and green colors can bring elegance and warmness to a home.
I hope this post inspires you to come up with some easy and simple Christmas decorations. And, thank you sis for letting me share your apartment's cute Christmas decoration (the picture with the raspberry cake and the picture with the small tree in a red ceramic pot), you inspired me:)

Pictures are my collages, some via Beff Decorations, La Dolce Vita, and Daily Dream Decor.

How to Use a Jar Tile in Four Ways

Bisous chic blog
Uncommongoods Jar Tile

Hey hey!! How do you like my new jar tiles??? I received them from Uncommongoods.com, they are not only cool but also super practical. The pictures I took are just an example of how many different things that I can put in these cute little jar tiles, let's start counting:
1. My favorite makeup (those are the ones that I use all the time: Nars Bronzer, Tom Ford red lipstick, Bare Minerals eye shadow, Nars face tint, and Dior mascara). Having them in the jar tile is so practical, because sometimes it is hard to find the lipstick or mascara you are looking for in your messy beauty drawer, having them there just makes it easier for you, especially in the mornings when you can't see anything :)
2. My favorite color, purple roses; a girl has to have fresh flowers in her bathroom!!
3. My Balenciaga perfume, actually it is hard to keep the parfume in this jar tile, just for the show haha!
4. Jewelry, and yes the jar tile has a top cover, so you can hide things in there, wouldn't recommend to hide your diamond ring though:)

Knitted Coffee Sleeves eclectic barware

Winter is back in the NYC, and it is more than time to wear those knit cashmere sweaters during day and night. Sweater pattern is so in this winter that, it is not only on clothes but also on home decor items like vases and mugs; the knits cover ottomans, sofas, stools and even coffee cups this year.
Sweater pattern on mugs and vases: Isn't it very interesting that the sweater/knit pattern can give you warmth although it is on a ceramic vase?? I got this sweater mug from David's Tea on Bleecker St. the other day, and have been loving the warmness it's been giving me while drinking my favorite Jasmine tea. Unfortunately they don't sell this mug online, if you are around NYC, go check their Bleecker Street shop, it is worth checking out. And the sweater vases above are from Crate and Barrel, they are on sale already, check them out here. If you liked the knit furniture covers, you can buy them right here.
